Cloud Dialer

If you are connecting to Noojee Cloud Dialer, you will need to start OpenVPN before starting Bria.

 

Windows

  1. From the Bria menu, choose Softphone > Account Settings. The SIP Account window appears. Click 'Add/SIP account
     
  2. In the Account tab, complete the User Details area.
    • Settings for connecting to a Noojee PBX is as follows.
      • Account name = Noojee
      • Protocol = SIP
      • Allow this account for:
        • Call = checked
        • IM / Presence = checked
      • User Details:
        • User ID = <name or number of extension>
        • Domain = <ip or domain of server eg: company.clouddialer.com.au>
        • Password = <extension password>
        • Display Name = <name or number of extension>
        • Authorization name = <name or number of extension>
      • Domain Proxy:
        • Register with domain and receive calls = checked
        • Send outbound via Domain
  3. In the Advanced tab
    • Set the reregistration interval to 900 seconds as some esoteric firewalls will close connections if the softphone hasn't communicated with the server for a while.
  4. Click OK. The window will close and Bria will register your account with your VoIP service provider. If you have trouble registering, click here.

Mac

  1. From the menu bar, choose Bria > Preferences > Accounts. The empty list of accounts appears.
  2. Click the + button and choose New SIP account. The SIP account window opens.
  3. In the General tab, complete the User Details area.
  4. Click OK. Then close the Preferences window. Bria will register your account with your VoIP service provider. If you have trouble registering, click here.

Ubuntu

  1. From the Bria menu, choose Bria > Account Settings. The empty account list appears.
  2. Choose Add. The SIP Account window appears.
  3. In the Account tab, complete the User Details area.
  4. Click OK, then click OK again to close the accounts list. Bria will register your account with your VoIP service provider. If you have trouble registering, click here.

Media Quality

To ensure a consisent audio quality the preserve bandwidth during silent periods will need to be turned off as it causes more grief that good.

This option can be found under Softphone > Preferences and then navigating to Media Quality and unchecking 'Preserve bandwidth during silent periods'

 

Testing your Setup

Try placing a call.
