If you are using Noojee Provision then these steps are not needed as your phone will be automatically registered.

To manually register a handset you will need the following details:

  1. IP address of your handset
  2. Handset extension number
  3. Handset Password
  4. IP Address of your PBX

IP Address of handset

To obtain the handsets ip address, on the handset press the right hand softkey (the four buttons under the screen) that has the label 'Menu' displayed just above it on the LCD screen.

Select 'Status' and then not the value after 'IP:' which should be of the form 'nn.nn.nn.nn'.

Other requried details

You will need to obtain these details from you PBX administrator.

Registering

Open a new browser window and enter the following:

http://nn.nn.nn.nn

Where nn.nn.nn.nn is the value your obtain for your handsets IP Address as above.

You will then be prompted for a user name and password.

Enter:

Username: Admin

Password : Admin

The home page for you handset should now appear.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now select the 'Account' tab, the following pages should open.

Now set the following fields as follows:

Note: leave all other fields unchanged.

Account Active: On

Label: <enter your handset extension number>

Display Name: <enter your handset extension number>

Register Name: <enter your handset extension number>

Username: <enter your handset extension number>

Password: <enter your handset password>

Save Details

At the bottom of the page click the 'Confirm' button.

Wait 10-20 seconds and your handset should register.

You can now make and take calls.
