Conference Room

Places the caller into the selected conference Room.

Multiple users can be placed into a conference to facilitate a group discussion ( a conference call).

Conference rooms that only exposed via an internal route (e.g. extension 10) can usually be configured without a PIN.

Conference rooms that are exposed externally should always be configured with a PIN to stop third parties abusing the system.

Room No

The Conference Room to place the caller into.

Prompt For Room

If checked, the user will be prompted to enter the room no. This is no more than an additional security check as the configured room no. will always be used.

PIN

The PIN the caller will need to enter the conference.

Leave blank if you don't want to use a PIN.

If the conference no. is exposed externally then you should set a PIN. For internal conference room the PIN is usually left blank.

Listen Only

If checked, the caller will only be able to listen to the call. This is handy for setting up webinars where you have a large no. of people 'listening' to the call.
