Create Allocation

The Create Allocation page allows you to create an new Allocation from previously unallocated leads or by re-allocating leads previously allocated leads.

Note: only leads that are unallocated or have been dialed at least once may be Allocated from the Create Allocation page.

The Create Allocation page Allows you to filter the leads based on a value in a lead field.

A typical example is the State or Postcode of a lead.

To create an allocation that just contains leads with a State of 'Victoria' select the 'State' field (or whatever field in you Campaign Template contains the State) then select 'Equals' from the 'Filter Operation' and enter 'Victoria' in the Value field.

Steps:

Note: if the 'Lead Counts Per Disposition' list is empty then there are no leads that can be re-allocated.

  • Set the Allocation Name
  • Choose the Screen Layout to use with this Allocation
  • Tick the 'Start Allocation' box if you want the Allocation to be immediately available to agents
  • Select the filter criteria (if required) and click Apply Filter. If you don't need a filter then just don't click 'Apply Filter'
  • Select the number of leads of each disposition type that you want to re-allocate.
  • Click Create Allocation
  • Your new allocation will be ready to dial in a few moments.

Allocating previously unallocated leads

When importing you can choose to also allocate the newly imported leads. In some case you may want to divide the campaign up into smaller allocations. In this case you should leave the Campaign unallocated and use this Create Allocation page to selectively allocate leads.

Reallocating previously dialed leads

Leads that have already been dialed may be reallocated to another campaign.
