Bad Media Description

We have seen this error in two scenarios:

  1. Mismatched codec - your Handset’s ‘Registration Options’ in Noojee Contact should have the following codec selected:

  • alaw

2) Chrome extensions

It appears that some chrome extensions can interfere with Noojee Phone’s operations.

Ad blocker looks to be a likely candidate.

To see if this is the problem disable all your chrome extensions:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.

  2. At the top right, click  More tools | Extensions.

  3. Make your changes:

    • Turn on/off: Turn the extension on or off.

Registration Failed

This can be caused by a variety of issues but here are a few things you can check:

  • Disable all Chrome Extensions

  • Disable any Proxies

  • Disable any Firewall

  • Disable anti-virus

  • Call Noojee for help.

Don’t forget to re enable your firewall and/or anti-virus if you disable them.
