Administrator Setup

As an Administrator you need to do a couple of things before your Team us Noojee Phone.

Check version for Noojee Contact v7

Noojee Phone requires Noojee Contact v7 or later.

  • Login to Noojee Contact.

  • Click the Noojee logo in the top right hand corner of the web page.

  • The about box is displayed with the version no.

Disable Incompatible Chrome Extensions

Some chrome extensions interfere with Noojee Phone. The following are extensions that we know cause problems:

  • Pure VPN

If your team are using an incompatible extension then they will need to disable it whilst using Noojee Phone.

Enable Noojee Phone

Noojee Phone must be enabled on each handset.

You need Administrator privileges in Noojee Contact to enable Noojee Phone.

Within Noojee Contact, click the ‘Provision’ menu then ‘Handsets’.

Search for your extension no.

On the ‘Basic’ tab you will see a field ‘Noojee Phone’.

Set the drop list to ‘Noojee Phone’.

Ask the user (or if it's yourself then you) to log out of Noojee Contact and log back in.
