Recording of Calls

This page displays a list of recordings made by the system. Depending on your permissions you may be able to see all recordings, your teams recordings or just your own.

If you click on one of the recording rows details for that recording will be displayed in the details panel.

From the details panel you can download or play a recording.

Play a recording

To play a recording select the desired recording from the list and then click the 'play' button in the edit panel. Wait a moment and the recording will start playing automatically.

Make certain your speakers are plugged in and turned on.

Download a recording

To download a recording select the desired recording from the list and then click the 'Download' Button just above the play back control in the details area.

Searching for recordings

You can search for recordings using the search bar which is just above the list of recordings.

Simply enter in a search string and the list will be filtered as you typing. The search bar search across most fields.

Advanced search

For more advanced searches you can click on the 'Advanced' check box at the left hand side of the search bar.

The Advanced search allows you to narrow the search criteria further than a simple text search allows for. In particular you can set a date range (From and to) to search within, select a specific agent or search for a phone number across all of the phone fields (DID, Source, Destination). You can also combine the simple text search with advance search criteria.

When using the Advance Search you MUST click the 'Search Now' button to start the search.

Sorting

When you first open the recording page the newest recordings will be displayed at the top of the page. The list of recordings can be sorted by some columns. To sort by a column click on the column heading. If a little arrow appears in the heading then you know you can sort by that column.

Click the column a second time to sort the list. You can click the column again to reverse the sort order for that column.
