CAMPAIGN IMPORT TARGET NEW TEMPLATE
You have selected to create a new Campaign Template.
The reasons you might create a Campaign Template are:
- you have a new product or service that needs to be managed separately
- the spreadsheet contains a different set of column heading names to existing Campaign Template field names.
- you need to run to Campaigns simultaneously but you need different dialer settings (in this case you should really 'Clone' the existing Campaign Template from the Action menu on the Campaign Template maintenance page.
To create the new Campaign Template fill out the following fields
New Template Name
The name of the new Campaign Template. This should usually be the name of the product of service that you are selling/researching/collecting.
New Campaign Name
The name of the Campaign that will be created from the contents of the imported spreadsheet. The name should normally reflect the source of the data. e.g. (Purchased List, Dec 2019).
Create Allocation
Tick the box if you want to create an Allocation as part of the Campaign. All leads from the spreadsheet will be combined into a single Campaign.
If you want to split the Campaign into separate Allocations (say by postcode) then leave this box unticked and perform a manual Allocation after completing the import.
Start Allocation
Tick the box if you want the Allocation to be immediately visible to your Agents.
If you leave the box untick you will need to manually start the Allocation from the Campaign Control Panel when you are ready.
New Allocation Name
The name of the Allocation. Usually this is the same name as used for the Campaign name.
You might want a different name for you Allocation if you want to convey some additional information to your Agents.
