Queue Messages 6.5
Each of the configured messages are played to the caller in turn.
When the end of the list is reached it starts back at the beginning unless a Start Loop has been added to the list.
If you have added a 'Start Loop' into the list then when the end of the list is reach the system will restart playing messages at the "Start loop" position, rather than at the start of the list.
You can one or more of the following Message types to the Message list.Â
They will be played in the listed order.
You can drag/drop the messages up and down the list to re-order them.
Business message
Play a Business message to the waiting caller.
Play from List
Plays a single message from a defined "Play list". Each time the system loops through the list of Messages a different message from the "Play list" will be played.
The message played depends on the "Play list" and weather it is set to shuffle or not.
Play hold music
Play hold music associated with the queue for the specified number of seconds.
Announce wait time
Announce to the caller the expected amount of time they will have to wait.
Announce position
Announce to the caller their position in the queue.
Announce all agents busy
Announce to the caller that all agents are currently busy.
Start loop
Indicates that when the end of the list of messages is reached, play back should be restarted from this point.
This is useful to avoid replaying a welcome message at the start of the play list.
