Setting up a SIP account
Select -> Softphone then -> Account Settings
The Account page should appear
Key your Extension number into the Account Name field
Key your Extension number into the User ID field
Enter your server (such as demo.njc.noojee.com.au) into the Domain field
Key your Extension Secret into the Password field
Key your Extension number into the Display Name field
Key your Extension number into the Authorization Name field
Make sure the Register with domain and receive calls option is selected
Select the Send outbound call via: options as Domain
The Accounts screen should now look similar to the screenshot below (with your extension instead of 123 and your server instead of demo.njc.noojee.com.au ):
Selecting the GSM codec
Select -> Softphone then -> Preferences
Select Audio Codecs from the menu on the left hand side
Select GSM from the Available Codecs list and press the arrow pointing to the right to add it into the Enabled Codecs list
Remove all other codecs from the Enabled Codecs list (by using the arrow pointing to the left)
The codecs screen show now look as follows:
