Screen Layout

Screen Layout

The screen editor is a simple editor built into Noojee Campaigner. The purpose of the Screen Editor is to allow the Campaign Manager to create a 'Script' which is presented to Agents when they make a call. The script may contain simple text, such as a script the Agent reads, as well as displaying any of the lead information imported for with the Campaign CSV file.

When you create a new Campaign Template by importing a CSV (Excel) file a 'Default' screen layout will be created. You can create alternate Screen Layouts by clicking the 'New' button on the right handside.

Each time you edit a Screen Layout a copy of the older version of the layout will be saved to History. If you make a mistake and need to revert back to an older version you can click the History button and then click 'Revert' on the version you want to revert to.

The bottom half of the screen contains two tabs 'HTML' and 'Javascript'.

The HTML tab is the important one as it lets you edit the screen layout. At the top of the editor is a formatting toolbar which lets you make the screen layout look pretty by applying colours, fonts, bold etc.

Below the formatting toolbar is the actual editor. A default layout will have been created. The editor works just like using a word processor. Just click and start typing the text you want displayed to your agents.

Below the editor is the Field toolbar. The Field Toolbar allows you to insert information about a lead into the screen layout.

For example, lets say you imported a CSV (Excel) file which had a column called 'Surname'. Noojee Campaigner will have a Field called 'Surname'. If you want to displays the lead surname to an agent then you need to add it to the Screen Layout. You can do this from the Field toolbar.

To add a field to the Screen editor start by clicking in the editor where you would like the field to be inserted.

Next select the field from the 'Field' drop list in the Field Toolbar then click the 'Insert View' or 'Insert Edit' button to insert the field into the screen layout.

The difference between Insert View and Insert Edit is that using the Insert View button will display the Surname to the Agent but they won't be able to updated it. By using the Insert Edit button the Agent an both see an edit the leads Surname.

The Field Toolbar also has some special options. You can insert The Agents name into the Screen layout using the Agent drop list and adjuacent 'Insert' button.

The Date button will insert a field that displays the current date.

The Url button will insert an URL Action which is able to send a message to an external system by the Agent clicking on a link.

The Email button will insert a link on the screen layout that is able to send an email to the lead when the Agent clicks on the link. You must first have created an Email Template to use the Email button.

You can maximise the Screen Editor by clicking the Zoom button. Click the Zoom button a second time to restore the screen editor to its standard size.
