CAMPAIGN TEMPLATE ENCRYPTION

Encryption Access

Defines the list of Users that are able to export campaigns from a Campaign Template that has Encryption enabled.

Only users that have been added to the list of users under this Encryption Access tab will have the ability to export any Campaigns from this Campaign Template.

The set of export methods available are defined by the Encryption Methods tab.

We strongly recommend having at least two people with access to exporting data whilst keeping the list to the minimum number absolutely necessary.

Best Practice

The recommended best practice is:

• Use the PGP File export method ONLY
• Give one user access to export data.
• Give a separate user access to the PGP Private key necessary to decrypt the exported data.

Using the above method means that two staff have to co-operate in order to access sensitve data.

There is no point enabling Encryption if you are not going to follow the above best practice. Any weak point in how you manage and control access to the data will essentially eliminate any possible security gained by using encryption.
