Data Migration Trigger

As records age they are moved from short term storage to mid term and long term storage. See the section on storage locations for more on the the various storage locations. This process is automated in that each evening the system moves older records from short term storage to mid term storage.

This menu item forces the data migration process to run rather than waiting for the automated invocation of the process. There is no input required when selecting this option, it simply triggers the process.

Should an error occur an email will be sent to the system administrators email address as specified in “System Variables”.

You can safely run the Data Migration Trigger option at any time without risk. You should not however need to run the Data Migration Trigger unless instructed to by Noojee.
