Two things happen when a call is recorded; the audio is stored in a file and a record is added to the built in database.

If the database is not available when a call is made, the audio is still recorded and the file is created however the database record is not created. The “System | Synchronize Call Records” facility provides a means to reconcile the recordings stored on disk as files with the records in the database. Where records are found to be missing in the database the Synchronize Call Records facility creates those records.

When selecting this menu option no input is required. The system will automatically scan the audio files and update the database as required.

You can safely run the Synchronize Call Records option at any time without risk. You should not however need to run the Synchronize Call Records unless instructed to by Noojee.
