Black List
A Black List allows you to maintain a list of Caller IDs that should not be allowed to dial in to the system.
NOTE: before black listing a no. you need to ensure that there are no laws that prevent you black listing a no. e.g. you may have customer service or DNCR obligations that require you to answer calls and provide information.
The Black List can be used to bar abusive callers from calling into your staff.
To use the Black List feature you need to:
- Add a list off Caller IDs to this page.
- Add the Route Script 'Black List' to each route that needs to check for black listed callers.
The Black List Route Script will simply hangup on any blacklisted phone no.
Fields
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | A name for this black listing. This could be the name of the abusive caller. |
Description | A description as to why the black listing was created. |
Phone number | The phone no. that is to be black listed. You need to check what format the clid is presented in as it must match exactly. e.g. 02 5555 1234 or 612 5555 1234 |
