Adding an Account
To create a new account click on the 'New'' button located above the account listing, this will display the 'New/Edit Account' page. Enter the appropriate fields and then click on the Save button to save the changes, or Cancel button to undo the changes and return to the Account List page.
Most of the account fields are self explanatory, name, address, password, etc. The fields that have a red star next to them require details in those field. All users need to be added to a Group as Groups manage what users can view and access within Noojee Administrator. A user can be added to multiple groups.
Note: the password must be a minimum of 6 charaters and a mixture of numbers, letters and non-alphanumeric characters.

Fields
Field | Explanation |

Login | The users Login name which is used to login to the Noojee PBX administration interface as well as Noojee Vision. |
Password | The users password. the password must be a minimum of 6 charaters and a mixture of numbers, letters and non-alphanumeric characters. |
Confirm Password | Used when changing the password. Must be identical to the Password field. |
The users email address. It is important that this is filled out as it is used if the user needs to recover their password. | |
Enable | Controls whether the account is enabled or not. If an account is disabled the user will not be able to login to either the Noojee PBX adminstration interface nor Noojee Vision. Disabling an account has no affect on a users phone operation. |
User ID | The User ID is only used for custom systems. |
PIN | The PIN is only used for custom systems in conjuction with the User ID. |
Groups | Defines the set of 03.3. Group that a user belongs to. |
Skills | Defines the set of 1. Skills that a user has. The Skill field will only appear if the 'Agent' group is selected for an account. |
Handsets | Defines the set of handsets that are associated with a user. For must systems it is only appropriate for a user to be associated with a single handset. Noojee will inform you if your system has been configured to use multiple handsets. Note: when a user logs into Noojee Vision-657 the Handset associated with their account will be updated. Foreign extension provide a means of using a non-SIP handset to answer calls however they are rarely used and require customisation to your system to make them accessible. |
Voicemail Boxes | Controls the set of Voicemail boxes that the user has access to. Note: the voicemail box associated with a users handset is configured via the 03.5. Handsets screen. This Voicemail Boxes setting on the Account controls which 02.3.1. Accessing Voice mail boxes the user will see in the Noojee PBX administration interface. |
Personal Details | This section lets you fill out the users personal details. These details have no impact on how the system operates. Currently it is more appropriate to enter most of these settings into a 02.1.3. Maintaining the White Pages entry for the Account. A future release will automatically syncronise these settings with the users whitepages entry. |
Firstname | The users firstname. This is displayed on the list of Accounts screen. The users firstname is used in a number of 'Agent' based reports for both Queues and Noojee Campaigner. |
Lastname | The users surname. This is displayed on the list of Accounts screen. The users Lastname is used in a number of 'Agent' based reports for both Queues and Noojee Campaigner. |
Phone Number | not currently used, leave blank |
Mobile Number | not currently used, leave blank |

Account Options | The Account Options section primarily controls how the users password is managed. The default settings are normally fine for most users. |
Description | Allows the administrator to make a note about the account. |
Cost Centre | Not currently used. |
Concurrent Sessions | Controls how many simultaneous logins this user can have to Noojee Administrator. The default value of 0 allows for unlimited logins. In most circumstances the defaul value is adequate. |
Password must change | If set the next time the user logs in, they will be forced to change their password. |
Password cannot change | The user will not be allowed to change their password through the standard '03.2. Change Password' menu. |
Password Never Expires | By default Noojee Administrator expires passwords every three months. If this field is enabled then the password will never expire. Noojee recommend that this field should NOT be enabled. |
Disabled Date | Track the last date on which this account was disabled. Used for information purposes only. |
Password Last Changed Date | The date on which this accounts password was last changed. |
Valid To | Not currently used. Leave blank. |
Show queue stats in Noojee Vision | If enabled then the user will be able to see a variety of queue statistics for their queues when logged into Noojee Vision. If disabled the user will be able to see their own status in the queue (logged in/logged out/paused...) but they will not be abel to see any statistics such as the 'Average Wait' time. Noojee recommends that this field should be enabled. |
Recorder/Monitoring Settings | This section controls whether the account is recorded and whether the users calls can be monitored. Recording and Monitoring is only available if you have purchased Noojee Recorder. |
Record Inbound Calls | If enabled all calls to this extension will be recorded. Note: that if Recording is enabled via the '04.1 Routing' screen then some recordings may be recorded regardless of whether this setting is enabled. |
Record Outbound Calls | If enabled then all calls which orginate from this users handset will be recorded. |
Can be Monitored | If enabled, any user that belongs to the 'Call Monitor' group will be able to listen to this users phone calls via the 01.8. Call Monitoring screen. |
Inbound Recording/Monitor Announcement | If set, in conjunction with the 'Record Inbound Calls' option, then all callers to any of the users handsets will be played the selected message to notify them that their call may be monitored or recorded. It is usually more appropriate to control this message via the 04.1 Routing screen. |
Outbound Recording/Monitor Announcement | If set, in conjunction with the 'Record Outbound Calls' option, then all parties called from any of the users handsets (with the exception of Foriegn Extensions) will be played the selected message to notify them that their call may be monitored or recorded. Note: this option is somewhat problematic as the message is played as soon as the remote end answers. If the remote end is another PBX then the remote end typically answers well before a human actually picks up the call. In this case the message will be played whilst no one is listening. If you believe you need this option turned on you should consult with Noojee on your exact requirements. |
