Account Handset

The Handset panel allows you to set the Handset Type and set of Voicemail boxes this Account has access to.

It is not normally necessary to select the Handset Type nor Extension no. as when a user logs into Noojee Admin or Noojee Vision they will be asked to enter their extension no. In some cases a User will never need to login to either Noojee Admin nor Noojee Vision in which case you can explicitly set their Extension no.

A user may have one or more Voicemail Boxes associated with their account. A user can download and playback voicemail message from the 'Voicemail' page in Noojee Vision.

Fields

Field Explaination
Handset Type

The type of handset the user users.

None - this account has no handset attached to it.

Local - a handset attached to this Noojee Admin instance (this is used for most handsets)

External - a phone that is not directly attached to Noojee Admin. For instance this can be a mobile phone or a home phone.

Handset When you select a Handset Type of 'Local' you must select the Handset that is to be attached to this account.
Phone Number When you select a Handset Type of 'External' you must enter the Phone Number of the external phone.
Voicemail Boxes Select the Voicemail boxes associated with this account.
